Looking4staff is a technical directory connecting professional cycling teams with independent professionals specialized in competitive cycling. Looking4staff is not an employer, a principal, a recruitment agency, or a legal advisor. The platform is a technical intermediary within the meaning of French law n° 2004-575 of June 21, 2004 (LCEN). Any contractual relationships concluded between users are independent from the platform. Looking4staff does not provide cycling services and does not participate in the performance of services agreed between users.
Access to the platform requires account creation. Users commit to providing accurate and up-to-date information during registration. Looking4staff performs automated technical checks (SIRET validity via INSEE API, EU VAT verification via VIES). These checks are purely technical and do not constitute a recommendation, guarantee, or endorsement by the platform.
Two types of accounts are available: • Team account: for cycling teams wishing to browse professional profiles and post search listings. • Professional account: for independent professionals wishing to list their profile on the platform. Each user may hold only one account. Creating an account constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Service.
Teams commit to: • Publishing listings that accurately reflect their needs. • Respecting the independence of professionals contacted through the platform. • Not integrating professionals into their organizational structure, not imposing schedules, and not exercising disciplinary authority. • Not using the platform to circumvent employment law. • Acknowledging that the platform provides no advice on the legal nature of relationships to be established with professionals.
Professionals commit to: • Providing truthful information on their profile (identity, qualifications, certifications). • Exercising their activity in compliance with applicable legislation (valid legal status, up-to-date tax and social obligations). • Holding the qualifications and authorizations required for the professions practiced. • Declaring on their honor that they work for multiple clients and do not use the platform as their sole source of activity. • Informing the platform in case of license revocation, deregistration, or change of status. Technical checks performed by the platform do not constitute a recommendation, guarantee, or endorsement.
Teams can post listings describing their staffing needs for cycling events. Professionals can browse these listings and express interest. The platform facilitates introductions. It does not intervene in negotiations, conditions, contractual terms, or formalities agreed between the parties. The content of listings and profiles is published under the sole responsibility of their authors. Looking4staff does not pre-moderate this content.
Teams pay a monthly subscription to access platform features (Starter: €49.99/month, Premium: €99.99/month). A 14-day free trial is offered upon registration. A 5% technical intermediation fee is deducted from the professional's payment when a payment is made through the platform. This fee compensates for the technical intermediation service and bears no relation to any guarantee on the underlying service. Payments are secured by Stripe Payments Europe, a licensed payment service provider. Looking4staff never directly holds user funds. Looking4staff acts as a technical payment intermediary. It is not a party to the underlying contract between the team and the professional.
Cancellation terms are determined by the agreement concluded directly between the team and the professional. Looking4staff does not define or impose a cancellation policy between the parties. In case of cancellation of a payment made through the platform, refunds are processed only upon concordant instruction from both parties.
Users may leave text feedback after a collaboration conducted through the platform. This feedback is purely declarative and falls under the responsibility of its authors. Looking4staff does not moderate feedback on substance. The platform reserves the right to remove manifestly unlawful content (insults, defamation, personal data) upon report. No score, aggregated rating, or qualitative ranking is established by the platform.
Looking4staff acts as a technical intermediary within the meaning of the LCEN. As such, Looking4staff shall not be held liable for: • The quality, compliance, or regularity of services performed between users. • The legal nature of relationships concluded between users. • The solvency, behavior, or competence of users. • Users' compliance with their social, tax, regulatory, or professional obligations. • The consequences of any reclassification of the relationship between a team user and a professional user. • The accuracy of information declared by users on their profiles and listings. The platform's liability is limited, in all cases, to the amount of technical fees received in connection with the relevant relationship.
The Looking4staff platform, its design, features, and source code are the exclusive property of Sport.CTRL. Users retain intellectual property rights over the content they publish on the platform and grant Looking4staff a non-exclusive license for display on the platform.
Teams benefit from a 14-day free trial from registration. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using search and listing features. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time without fees. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Personal data processing is detailed in our Privacy Policy accessible from the site footer. Looking4staff is committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data is hosted within the European Union (Supabase, Vercel). Sub-processors are identified in the Privacy Policy.
In accordance with article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, in case of unresolved dispute with our customer service (looking4staff@sportctrl.com), the consumer may use a consumer mediator free of charge. Looking4staff never mediates disputes between users. In case of disagreement between a team user and a professional user, the parties are invited to resolve their dispute directly or consult a legal professional.
Looking4staff reserves the right to modify these terms. Users will be notified by email at least 30 days before any substantial modification takes effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute relating to the use of the platform, the parties shall endeavor to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts shall be those of Sport.CTRL's registered office (Annecy, France). Consumers benefit from the protective provisions of their country of residence if more favorable.
